Hastings Fire Brigade and Langwarrin Rescue Crews were called to a Car Crash shortly before 9.00am this morning on the corner of Frankston – Flinders and Coolstore Road, Hastings. The 36 year old female from Bittern lost control of her vehicle and was trapped for nearly half an hour.

Langwarrin Rescue used the “Jaws of Life” to cut both doors and the roof away from the vehicle to enable clear access to the women. The driver was then flown by helicopter to the Alfred Hospital with head injuries. Police are investigating.
